Answers to common questions.

What types of computers do you service?

We service Windows desktops and laptops, gaming PCs, and custom-built computers. We do not currently repair Macs, Chromebooks, phones, tablets, or soldered components on circuit boards.

What does diagnosis cost?

Standard workshop diagnosis is free. We inspect the reported problem, explain what we find, and talk through your options. Pickup, return, in-home time, parts, specialized data recovery, and separately approved extended work are additional. We will not begin paid work until you approve it.

What can you do during an in-home appointment?

In-home labor is $60 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Appointments can cover some diagnostics, Windows and software problems, computer setup, accessory help, and simple upgrades. We confirm the planned time and full visit price before scheduling. If the computer needs workshop tools, longer testing, or a repair that is not practical in your home, we explain the next step before bringing it to our workshop.

Where is pickup available, and what does it cost?

Our primary service area includes Clinton, Clearfield, Sunset, West Point, Syracuse, Roy, and Layton. Local pickup is $15, return is $15, or both are $25. Nearby Davis and Weber County requests and limited Salt Lake County route appointments are considered individually.

Where can I drop off my computer?

Drop-off is available by appointment in Clinton. We send the exact address after confirming the appointment so someone is ready for you. Walk-ins are not available.

How long will service take?

We normally answer messages within one business day. Repair timing depends on the problem, parts availability, and the work you choose, so we provide an expected completion window after diagnosis.

Will you need my Windows password?

Some software checks and final testing may require access to Windows. We explain why before asking. When possible, we prefer a temporary account or password, and we do not keep customer passwords in permanent records.

Do you offer data recovery?

We may be able to recover accessible files from a working or partially working drive, but recovery is never guaranteed. Physically damaged drives or irreplaceable files may need a specialized data-recovery company.

Tell us what you know. We'll help with the rest.

Tell us what the computer is doing, what kind of computer it is, your location, and whether you prefer in-home service, pickup, or drop-off.
